You'd think watching a movie in a cemetery would be creepy, but quite to the contrary, it was the best movie experience I've ever had.  Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the final resting place for many of the stars that shined during the golden era of Hollywood.  Stars such as Rudolph Valentino, Douglas Fairbanks, Cecil B. Demille, Jayne Mansfield, Alfalfa, Estelle Getty and Joey Ramone are buried here.

Classic movie screenings are held on the lawn of the cemetery every weekend by Cinespia, make sure you bring your bottle of wine and a blanket.  This definitely out does a typical date to a movie theater, here you can picnic on the lawn and cuddle with your date while watching a great movie. The atmosphere is very friendly and lively, several people dress up as characters from the movie being screened and you might even run into a celebrity too!

Here are a few pictures I took while at the screening of Annie Hall.

LA11 There were several girls dressed as the Annie Hall character, didn't spot anyone dressed as Woody Allen.

LA12 LA15 LA13 My buddy Rob spotted Paul Dano in the crowd, he's good at spotting celebrities.
